SPIRIT DANCE ENSEMBLE
• Come and lift your spirit in this unique dance and performance class for ages 7-12 and 11-18 years.
SDE is a non-competitive, Spiritually Centered Dance and Performance Class, dedicated to psreading and sharing the gospel. We will use Christian based music, Hymns, Prayers and Scripture and avariety of dance styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Interpretive Sign to share the message. All choreography is age appropriate, morally sound and expressive of our gratitude for our gifts from God. This class is open to all abilities and experiences, all faiths and beliefs, if you want to be a part of something unique and special, register today! Classes begin Fall 2008.
TYC Coach Kjelene brought several of The Young Company dancers to The Pulse On Tour in Las Vegas for master classes with Dave Scott, Cris Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson, Wade Robson & Mia Michaels. The Pulse On Tour has the hottest choreographers in the industry teaching a sixteen hour intensive dance convention weekend. In the evening, the dancers performed "Janie's Got a Gun" in the showcase and received very good critiques from these industry professionals. They all had a marvelous time! Click here to read more...
Congratulations to Elaine Yu! This past summer, Elaine was awarded as Junior Elite Protege at The Pulse On Tour dance convention. As an Elite Protege, Elaine is invited to travel nation-wide with the choreographers from the hit summer TV show So You Think You Can Dance. At this intensive dance convention, Elaine assists and demonstrates for the teachers on the stage, so that the 200+ dancers taking the classes have someone to follow. Click here to read more!
