| Ballet |
The foundation of all contemporary dance styles. We provide a blend of the Cecchetti Method and The Jeoffrey Ballet Method. The Cecchetti technique is a full syllabus designed to train dancers for professional work. One notable emphasis in the Cecchetti syllabus is that the arms flow and blend from poisition to position more than any other technique. The Jeoffrey Ballet Method builds strength, grace, discipline, and correct body placement, as well as emphasizing the creative athletic movement indicative of today's contemporary ballet. A slow and steady progressive study is emphasized; therefore our classes provide a non-intimidating approach to anatomically-sound ballet technique. |

| Jazz |
Originated from African-American roots.
Reflects the spirit and mood of contemporary music.
We teach the fundamentals of the Simonson Jazz Technique. The technique itself is designed to train dancers independent of style. The body is trained in an anatomically healthy way that allows students to adapt to any style of the more than 32 flavors of jazz dance. Our instructors further enhance this technique with the unique styles of Jazz Masters such as Fosse, Bennett, and Ailey. Our jazz technique is a structured syllabus in which our dancers must demonstrate command of each step and movement with precision, placement, and rhythm before moving to the next level. The progression through the curriculum of our technique and styles is carefully designed to be in accordance with the student's physical and mental development. |

| Tap |
Indigenous to the United States.
Tap teaches increasingly challenging rhythmic combination of steps. Builds stamina, coordination and strong bodies. We follow the Al Gilbert codified syllabi for Graded Tap Method. Each grade usually takes at least 2 years to complete. It is not uncommon for a student to spend 3-4 years in a certain level before moving to the next level. These grades are based on ability, not by age, so there are various ages in each class. Tap students must be able to demonstrate the tap steps of the grade one at a time with crisp clear sounds, correct rhythm and timing, proper posture, use of arms and head, and have a full understanding of the theory of that grade before being considered for the next level.

| Clogging |
Clogging is an American Folk Dance that has its roots from the many folks dances of Scottish, Irish, English, German, African and Cherokee nation influences as well as Canadian Step Dancing and more recently Tap and Country Line Dancing. Clogging is a percussive dance - with lots of heavy footwork - utilizing taps on the shoes to emphasize the sounds. Our clogging program consists of standards set by the Northern California Cloggers Association (NCCA Inc) in conjunction with the National Clogging and Hoedown Council. Contemporary steps involve more stylization and more sounds to the step work. Traditional and contemporary steps and pattern work follow along the lines of the Certified Clogging Instructor program developed by CLOG as well as the high standards set by NCCA Inc. Clogging is fun for all ages - from the young to the young at heart.

| Hip-Hop |
Hip-Hop is a cultural movement that began among urban African Americans and Latinos in the Bronx New York City in the early 1970s, and has since spread around the world. The four main aspects, or "elements", of hip hop culture are MCing (rapping), DJing, graffiti, and break dancing. The term has since come to be a synonym for hip hop music (or rap music) to mainstream audiences. This dance form has become a blend dance styles incorporating Funk, Break Dance, and Jazz. At Trinity we offer the latest industry styles, with emphasiss on rhythm, funk, and attitude. Progression through this style enhances coordination, strength, quickness, and endurance. Once dancers have mastered the basic steps, more advanced and intricate movements will be introduced through the curriculum. Our Hip-Hop style is age appropriate and morally acceptable.
